HEALING

"...I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well…" - Mark 5:28

A sister had been suffering from a flow of blood for two years and had been abandoned by the doctors, unable to recover despite taking many medicines. She was found on her deathbed. She had gone to many places for healing, but she did not get well. The doctors also gave up on her. A prayer meeting was held near this sister's house. At that meeting, the pastor who had come to deliver the goodnews was informed about this sister's condition. The next day, the pastor came to the sister's house and proclaimed the love of Jesus and prayed for her. During that time of prayer, a power descended. At that moment, the flow of blood stopped. The pastor told the sister, "The Lord has chosen you." Today, the sister is serving.

Similarly, an incident is written in the New Testament. We know of a woman who had suffered for 12 years. When the woman had been afflicted by many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was not healed, and was exceedingly sorrowful, she heard of Jesus, and said, If I touch but his garments, I shall be made whole. And she touched his garment, and her pain left her, and she was made whole.

Yes, beloved! The command given by Jesus to all is to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Only when we tell others about Jesus will they hear about Jesus. Those who hear will have faith in Jesus. This woman did the same. As soon as she heard about Jesus, she wanted to see him. She must have had faith that if she touched him, she would be made whole. Jesus has the power to heal diseases and any cancer that doctors have abandoned. He is the Lord who sends his word and heals. He is the wonderful and miraculous Lord who raises the dead from the death. Therefore, let us come to Jesus, who gives healing, and receive healing. Amen.
