Lovely Lord
"…I love your law" - Psalm 119:163
I once felt guilty because I had walked in a way that was not pleasing to God. I began to think that I was a sinner, and how could I touch and read the Holy Scriptures. So I did not read the Scriptures or pray for three days. The next day I went to the prayer room and said that I would just sit there and leave. I did not even read the Scriptures, but sat quietly. Then I heard a small voice saying, "Ganesha, I still love you." Just as I was thinking that this was conception, I heard the voice again, "Ganesha, I still love you."
Yes, God loved us while we were sinners and sent His only begotten Son into this world. Not only that, but He gave His life to save us from sin and to gain the heavenly life that we had lost because of sin. Jesus Christ also said, "... I came to call sinners to repentance." (Matthew 9:13). Therefore, he loved the tax collectors and sinners whom the world hated. He ate with them. The news of the birth of Jesus Christ was first announced to the shepherds who were considered insignificant by the world. An army of angels came down to tell them the good news of the birth of Jesus.
Beloved! We who have tasted the love of God must take the gospel to them so that Christ may be born in the hearts of many who yearn for love. With this burden, the Lord gave a plan to announce the good news of the birth of Jesus to 25,000 villages this year, and has given us the grace to visit as many villages as possible. Only He can wash away sin and give salvation from sin. It is the duty of each of us to announce this to many! Let us also love those who are hated, rejected, and left alone by many. Let us share our love so that they too can rejoice during these festive times. The shepherds saw the child and spread the news. (Luke 2:17) Then they returned, glorifying and praising God. Today we receive God's love and peace, praise and glorify Him, and remain with Him. He has made us taste His love, believing that we will proclaim it. Let us proclaim it without forgetting, and the God who does not forget will be with us as Emmanuel.
