Prestigious work

"…Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?..." - Isaiah 6:8

Standard Oil Company was looking for an executive who could serve in Indonesia branch. They searched for a person with integrity and talent. They called a missionary. The missionary, who was faithful in his ministry, refused to become an oil company executive. Companies boss said that he would pay thirty dollars. The missionary refused and so said we will give him whatever he asks for. And he said that the work you call is a small compared to the work I do now.

We think of missionaries as suffering and ordinary people. But this is God's work, work for the Kingdom of the Highest. In this work Paul says that he will never be oppressed or weary. He also suffered a lot in his body. He suffered many hardships for the sake of the gospel. Paul was troubled but not discouraged. Because God is the Almighty, the One who strengthens us, the One who gives us strength for the cause of peace and keeps us from harm. Protected Paul from being poisoned and damaged by poisonous insect bites. Although the Lord allowed Paul to be beaten in some cities, God gave him the strength and courage to get up immediately. God never abandons us. We can taste the resurrection power of Jesus Christ every day. Even though Nehemiah works in the palace, he does not think of it as a big job, but the work he does for the Lord is a big job.

Beloved! Set yourself on the mission of attaining the kingdom of heaven as the greatest goal of your life. In the midst of any work, God's last commandment depart; Involve yourself in the noble mission of evangelism. Direct your children to build the Kingdom of God and receive God's blessing.
