son of vow
"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" - Pro 22:6
The Kota-Urusilla couple lost their only child whom they cherished. It was very cold at Germany in December. In the midst of the cold, the sound of a sweet song was heard in their ears. "Though a poor child, the Lord protects him by giving him clothes. He loves me. In the shivering cold, a boy sang the hymn "He will bless me all the days I am here, and join me in heaven when my life is gone." Hearing the song, the family opened the door and found a poor boy singing in the shivering cold.
Calling him into the house and asking where are your parents and where are you from? The boy replied, I am a poor boy. I am the first child of seven people born with me. My parents dedicated me to the Lord on the day of my birth. I wanted to study, but my parents couldn't afford it. So he said that he is studying in school by begging and singing this lively song. The parents adopted the boy and educated him. Many years passed. The boy studied and grew up and obtained all the highest degrees. Higher positions came to him. But he brushed them off and fulfilled his parents' wishes. He was the star of the Reformation, Martin Luther. The song of hope that his mother had taught him in his childhood was a refuge for his generation. This is how Martin Luther was shaped by what his mother taught him as a child. Left in the church as a child, Samuel worked and listened to what was taught there and lived according to it, rising to become a great prophet.
My people! It is what we teach in childhood that will make our children Godly. Put your bread on the waters; We hope that you will see the results after many days. So let's lead the children with the help of the Lord to the Lord in the way of the verse. Our children will shine like the stars in the sky and will be useful to many.
