Albatross

 

"...we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,..." - Romans 8:28

 

Many times some people complain like this. Why we also lament? I wish I was a little higher, colored, thinner, a little fat, a little more educated, I wish I had been born in a different home! But did you know that God created you beautifully? Don't Worry.

 

Recently I happened to read about the bird called ALBATROSS. It is a love bird. Will live with only one mate. It is a bird with long feathers. A very large bird too. It cannot fly like other birds. But it starts to fly like an airplane after climbing to higher places. Can fly non-stop for about five years. Its food is the fishes that come over the seas. Their life is not ordinary like other birds. They accept the life style that God has given them and live wonderfully. Yes, you too accept what God has allowed in your life. A mother named Naomi is found in the book of Ruth. Her husband Elimelech took his family to the land of Moab to escape the famine in the land. Days passed. The husband dies and her two sons Maklon and Gilion die. She lost everything and was lonely in a foreign land. She returned to Bethlehem to worship her God, her country, her people. Yes, even though she lost everything in her life, she did not forget her God. She also kept her widowed daughter-in-law Ruth with her. Our God had a plan to support and save their family and to give birth to a Son of God in their offspring.

 

Yes my dears! Accept with patience whatever God allows in your life. Do not forget that all things work together for good to those who love God. Whatever the situation, turn to the Lord. Stick to him. He is our refuge. He will bless you. He will make you live. Alleluia!
