Saved by faith

 

"quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword,..” - Hebrews 11:34

 

Martin Luther was excommunicated from all church responsibilities for pointing out unscriptural things in the church. Many more charges were levelled against him. Martin Luther was hiding in the forest when five warriors found him. Faithful s Luther was not afraid of the soldiers. As a believer in Christ, he prayed and boldly began to speak to the soldiers. They also forgot their work and talked for a long time without knowing the passing of time and returned peacefully refreshed in their respective souls. Luther was saved that day. The reason why he survived so many times in his life was because of the shield "The righteous shall live by faith"!

 

Even though he knew that it was written in the scriptures and sealed by the king that he should not worship any god but the king, Daniel prayed three times with faith as he had done before. He prayed even when he was put in a lion's den. So the people in that land knew that the God of Daniel was the living God. Likewise, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not worship the golden image. They were steadfast in the Lord. The fierceness of the fire was sevenfold and they were protected from it. Wherever people with faith are zealous for the Lord, God sent His angel to protect them.

 

Dear readers! When we put the anchor of faith in the boat of our life in the time of trial, pain and closeness, and when we declare it with our mouth and look to God, He will save us from them miraculously, wonderfully. Not only that, but also those around us will know the power of our God. We read in 1 John 5:4 that "our faith overcomes the world." Let's gather faith and live a peaceful life, freed from the troubles, dangers, hardships and sufferings that come in the world.
