We are a spiritual bride

 

"...You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride; you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain" - Songs 4:12

 

He wants us to be spiritual brides, God's garden, fountain and well. A well and a fountain make the garden fertile. A garden without a well and fountain will be barren and unattractive. To make the bridegroom happy with the fruit of the garden. God the Bridegroom expects the fruit he desires, the fruit of obedience, the fruit of love, the fruit of service.

 

Queen Victoria was an person who record of her family events in her diary entries. Here is a note on one side of it. When she returned to his room in the palace after attending a function, it was locked from the inside. There was no response when Queen Victoria was standing at the door. When she knocked on the door, she was asked who her husband was inside and she said, "Your dear wife is here" and the husband ran and opened the door.

 

God is looking for our love, are you loving me? He asks longingly. He also loves us. Yes, just as a wife expects love from her husband, so the bridegroom Jesus Christ expects love from us, the spiritual bride. Let's love Jesus and live. Alleluia!
