Amazing love

 

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" - Romans 5:8

 

Once Sathu Sunder Singh was traveling in the foothills of the Himalayas. Then he saw a crowd of people trying to put out the forest fire. He saw many of them staring at a burning tree in particular. When he approached and questioned them, they showed a bird's nest in that tree. Some chicks are screaming inside the cage. The mother bird was chirping and flying around the nest. As the fire increased, the mother bird spread her wings and hugged her chicks. When the tree fell, the mother bird, which had been charred, was removed, and the five chicks inside were safe. Do we often doubt the perfect love of the Lord who put so much sacrificial love into the bird of wisdom?

 

In the Bible, in a case, in the days of Solomon, two women fought over a child. Solomon's judgment was to cut the child and give it in half. Woe to the throbbing of the mother of the living child! She begged Lord “Give the child to her alive”. The other said to cut. The child was given to the crying real mother. Similarly, Jesus gave himself to save us from the punishment of hell.

 

Jesus set a precedent by washing the feet of the betraying Judas, the apostate Peter, and the fleeing disciples before being dragged to the cross by the Jews. Even knowing what they would do to him, he humbled himself and gave his life, that love was burning so hot in him. May the Lord help us to remove the problems in us so that we cannot show others the excessive love that He has shown us! "May the Spirit himself fill each of us with his love."
