Dear children! Missionaries came to our country from abroad, made many sacrifices and served us so that we could know the Lord. Not only that, education and medicine are the treasures that missionaries have given us. Today, let's hear what a missionary did?

 

Missionary Prop was helping the suffering people by proclaiming the love of Jesus in Erode. He lived in the twentieth century. During those days, many people died due to sudden illness. In these days when Corona spread...people died in droves without medicine, didn't they? How much fear and pain we faced those days. We couldn't go out of the house to play; we couldn't go to school. Jesus has miraculously stopped the corona virus. Praise God.

 

 But what about people who don't know Jesus? Many people died due to malaria, cholera and plague. Saddened by this, Prop called a Doctor, Micency, who was working in Vellore. Do you know why? Women do not seek treatment from male doctors. Many people were affected by this. So, a female doctor, Micency, was called in and served day and night. She sought out people and helped them without fearing that the disease would affect her. Many people were benefited by this. She worked tirelessly doing free medical services and served in Erode for 15 years. She was the first missionary to this area. Prop was also instrumental in establishing the hospital with the help of doctor.

 

What little ones! Have you seen how many people have been blessed by the life of Micency and Prop who gave up their comfortable life and served sacrificially? You too can be useful to Jesus. Don't think I'm a little child, what I can do! Give what you can to Jesus...Tell those around you about Him. Ok.
