Eminence from dust!!

 

"He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap,.." - 1 Samuel 2:8

 

Sachin Tanwar was born in the state of Rajasthan as the last son of a poor farming family in a small village. In his childhood, he had no knowledge about the sport, Kabaddi. But he used to bowl well and is active. However, once one of his brothers was injured, he was called to play in a kabaddi match. He participated and won. His victory on the day took him to the next tournament. He also started playing for the Indian team in later days and is currently in the list of highest scoring kabaddi players. What an honor!

 

In the Bible, in the 17th chapter of Samuel, a warrior named Goliath insults all the armies of Israel and God. David who was a shepherd went to the battlefield to feed his brothers. Then he sees everything happening there. He fights with Goliath and wins. David's victory that day is still talked about even today. In later days, David led his people through many wars as king.

 

Beloved, David was a young shepherd. He has nothing to do with kingship. But look at God's work. He took David from the dust and made him sit in a high place and admired. Is your life like dust today? Are you struggling to make progress? Don't worry. One day God can lift you up beyond what you think you have nothing to do with. Put yourself in God's hands and wait. It is sure to lift you from the dust and make you look beautiful! Hallelujah!!
