Success life

 

"…let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall" - 1 Corinthians 10:12

 

A child slipped into the lion enclosure at the zoo. Would a mother put her child in it? Isn't it? It is because the place where the mother kept her child was dangerous that the child fell!

 

So, it is with him, who stands on the brink of sin and says, I stand and will not fall. The Israelites, who left Egypt and experienced God's guidance, turned away from God and became tired. They were destroyed because they tested God and murmured. Just as there was a fall in the lives of those who received God's guidance, there may be a fall in our lives. We must live with caution.

 

God can give us the strength to withstand the temptations of our lives and the way to escape the temptation of sin. Our responsibility is to live with warning! Don't play on the edge of sin. Leaning into our own wisdom and often living in a know-it-all posture, we fall. "Pride goes before destruction; pride goes before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18).

 

Where do we stand? Let's take a moment and ponder if we are living with arrogance and pride. Isn't living carefully with the power of God leading to a successful life rather than falling and waking up in sin! "I have kept your word in my heart, that I may not sin against you" (Psalm 119:11).

 

Yes, beloved! We are living in a time where we must live very carefully. As people of intelligence, as those who wrote the scriptures on the tablet of the heart, let us live carefully and inherit the crown of life that does not fade away. Amen.
