Be careful with the opposite sex

Rev. Billy Graham, in his ministry, laid down a rule that a man should not speak to a woman in private for any reason. The reason is that many may fail in this regard. So, he taught the ministers to adhere to this as the main thing. One day Billy Graham received a direct phone call from Queen Elizabeth. She said that she wanted to talk to him privately for a few hours. The truth is many people are waiting to see and talk the Queen. If one wants to be met by the Queen, several qualifications must be met. But the call comes from such a woman. Many were anticipating what Billy Graham was going to say. But he also said "No" in one word.

 

Beloved in Christ, we may ask many questions why He said "NO". He may also be asked whether he had holiness and self-control. He was firm in his decision. Because you never know where and when someone will fall for whom. Don't forget that the ministry is more important than anything. When we look at the Bible, even God-known characters such as Samson, the best in strength, David, the best in spiritual life, and Solomon, the best in wisdom, fail in this matter. Even Dinah, Jacob's daughter, was left looking around the city and defiled by sin. In general, men or women should be wise in their relationship with the opposite sex. Unnecessary communication corrupts virtue. It is possible to start with normal speech and become the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the sex, and the lust of the flesh. It is very important to be careful. Yes, let us live carefully so that there is no taint in our Christian life, and we do not dishonor Christ. Fear of the Lord is requiring, if the relationship with God is right, then we can escape from the desires of the world.
