Be mindful

 

"…Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfil it" - Colossians 4:17

 

God has a ministry for each of His children. Some of those reading this meditation may be questioning what ministry to do. Ask the Lord and He will guide you. He speaks through circumstances, inner feelings, scriptures, and servants. He will assign some ministry to you. Prayer service can be done by everyone anywhere and on any day. Will you agree to regularly pray the prayer suggestions for each day in this meditation journal? We should be careful to faithfully fulfil the ministry that the Lord has given us with sacrifice.

 

When Saul asked Jesus, who met him on the road to Damascus, "What do you want me to do?", Paul was very careful to receive the ministry of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, Israelites, and kings. Because Peter was careful to fulfil the ministry the Lord had given him to fulfil in the house of Cornelius, there was an awakening among the Gentiles. The Ethiopian minister was saved when Philip was careful to fulfil his ministry. While the apostles were attentive to their ministry, multitudes of souls were saved, and the church grew daily.

 

Elijah, who had the opportunity to meet King Ahab through Obadiah in the Old Testament, took advantage of that opportunity to have a revival on Mount Carmel. The Lord does not simply leave those who diligently fulfil the ministry given by the Lord. When the widow of Zarephath was commanded to care for Elijah and did so, the Lord supported her and her son throughout the famine. He resurrected her son when he died and made her happy.

 

Beloved! Be careful to fulfil the ministry given by the Lord. In the revival, God will use you mightily. Meet your needs. Our God honor with same wage earner for all, be it full-time or part-time ministry. Are you ready to serve?
