God is alive

 

"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore…" - Revelation 1:18

 

We celebrated the festival of resurrection by singing "The Jews king of Lion is Risen" with rapture and joy. Now where is that resurrected Jesus? Have we ever wondered what he is doing?

 

When John, the disciple of love, was on the island of Padma, God revealed to him about the things that would happen in the end times. What must have been the feeling of John, who was leaning on Jesus' chest and had a close relationship with him, when he saw him now? He heard a sound like the sound of a trumpet, and what was the scene he saw when he returned to hear the voice of the former and the latter alive? Among the seven golden lampstands he saw one like the Son of Man, standing tall and wearing a golden chain around his chest. He was like a thunderbolt and a thunderbolt, and like the sound of a great flood, he carried seven stars in his hand, and from his mouth a blackened sword on both sides, and his face was like the sun shining mightily.

 

Have we thought about the Lord who is full of such greatness and power? We can't bear to see. Even John, who spoke to him face to face, could not bear it. He fell at his feet like a dead man. His days as the Son of Man were 31/2 years. But as an eternal being of long life he was with the Father before the creation of the world. He says I am alive today and forever.

 

Yes, we have such a mighty and majestic God! Are we afraid of him? No, do we treat him like a miserable man who died on a cross and ignore it? He is not the dead Christ but the living God who has risen. He is the one who perfects everything for us. He is not dead, he lives forever and reigns supreme. To Him we give glory and honour. Amen!
