Good deeds

 

"eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality" - Romans 2:7

 

A viper bit the apostle Paul on the island of Melita. The islanders thought Paul was a murderer. They were waiting for Paul to die. No one cared for Paul. No attempt was made to save him. But Paul prayed for and healed the Head of Publius, the governor of the island, who was bedridden with fever and anemia. He also cured other sick people. For this Paul's help, the people gave him everything necessary and sent him aboard the ship with respect.

 

When we do such a good deed, the souls will be saved, and they will become our relations and friends. Winston Churchill, known as England's War Victory prime minister, got stuck in a swamp when he was a boy. He shouted save me. A nearby farmer ran to the rescue. For this, Winston Churchill's father, Lord Randolph Churchill, helped the farmer's son to attend the largest school his son attended. Later, Lord Randolph Churchill sent the farmer's son to study at the famous St. Mary's Medical College in London for further studies. It was Alexander flaming who discovered the world-famous drug "penicillin". Alexander flaming saved Winston Churchill's life with "penicillin" when he was suffering from pneumonia.

 

Farmer Flaming and his father's good deeds saved Winston Churchill twice and won the Second World War, earning him the title of "War Victory prime minister". England was saved by the good deed of a farmer, and by the creditor thanks to a good deed.

 

As Christians, we will continue to do good deeds without getting tired. Isn't it more certain that the Lord will reward us in this life and in the hereafter for the spiritual work we do today and the worldly benefits!
