Tracts

 

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,…" - Matthew 28:19

 

A single tract caused a great revival. It was also responsible for creating nine missionaries to the world. In Tamilnadu too, through excellent medical work, not only did it give physical relief, but also spiritual relief. What tract is it, and who read it? And how did medical work take place through it in Tamil Nadu?

 

Yes, one day John Scudder was waiting somewhere to see his friend. That's when he saw the tract! Its title was "Repentance of the World". When he saw it, he took it in his hand and started reading. He dedicated his life to Jesus. Later he devoted himself to ministry. He dedicated his seven sons and two daughters to missionary work. All 43 members of his family were devoted to Christian work! Mrs. Ida Scudder the woman who established the C.M.C Hospital in our Vellore and did medical and evangelistic work was the granddaughter of John Scudder. It is the best example in history for a family doing the work of Christ for generations and generations!

 

The command of love of the Lord Jesus Christ told us to go and make disciples of all nations... Jesus is not someone who expects something from us that he did not do. Jesus showed us by living by preaching the gospel and healing the sick.

 

Beloved! Evangelism is the responsibility of every believer, not just full-time ministers or missionaries. Tens of thousands have crossed the path of salvation through the conversion of one man through one tract. A tract of the gospel we give is the cause of someone's salvation. So, let's take the tracts ministry we do seriously. Let us give it to the one who needs it with prayer! The Lord will surely work in them. God will convert everyone who receives tracts into heavenly representatives.
