Love is on whom?

 

"…For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ” - Galatians 1:10

 

In February 1961, Queen Elizabeth of England came to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Then Kuncho and his wife Sumpi, who live in a village near Mount Everest, got a chance to meet the Queen. Sumbi was also pregnant at that time. They covered a distance of 180 miles in ten days over a long and rough track. She gave birth on the way. After resting only for an hour, they again travelled with the child in their arms and met the Queen . It was the desire to see the Queen that prompted them to cross the rough roads.

 

Similarly, Daniel's devotion to the Lord motivated him to overcome obstacles. Knowing that the king had signed a bond not to bow down to anyone but the king, he prayed as he had done before. Even if there are obstacles in the time to meet God, he continues to do so because of his love for God. He does not hesitate to go there even if he gets a lion's den as a punishment. But many of us Christians today say we love Jesus. But when we experience small hardships, fatigue, and failures, we leave Christ behind. If there is love for Christ, hardships, fatigues and failures are not a thing. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not leave God even though they were thrown into the fiery furnace because of their love.

 

Beloved! Who is your love for? Do you want to please people? Do you want to please God? If your love is for God, what have you endured for him? What did you give up? Think of it as Love for Him gives us all and the strength to endure. It is enough to have our first love and all our love for Him. Accept struggles for God and can persevere in the midst of difficulties. He will also give you strength for this. Love and live for Him. God bless you!
