Age doesn't matter

 

"…But the hand of the diligent makes rich" - Proverbs 10:4

 

Female motivational speaker from India was invited to Australia for a month to speak motivational words to students in many schools and colleges. She had thought that she would enjoy seeing many places throughout those days. It was a great disappointment to see the person sent as a guide to help her. Because it was an 82-year-old grandmother whose name was Marilyn. I wonder how she is going to help me! Merlin's dashing style and driving the vehicle with care and at the required speed was very exciting. Days passed. Although sometimes the speaker was late, the guide, Merlin, energetically took her to many places. She said that in the evenings she helps a children's hostel with accounting and prepares bread for an old age home. Once when asked to describe some plants in the botanical garden, Merlin did not know. When the speaker returned to India after a month, Merlin, what is your next job? Asked the speaker “When you ask about some plants, I don't know, I'm going to study to find out” said Merlin. Speaker came to India with the joy of meeting an unforgettable person.

 

This is a challenging task for us. Merlin grandmother is a very challenging person for today's teenagers who crawl from one place to another! In the scriptures we also see that Caleb at the age of eighty-five asked and received a mountain pass.

 

Dear brothers and sisters, how do you use and accustom your body? Our body is the temple where God resides and it is important to use it actively and carefully. Painting can only be done if there is a wall. May God be glorified through you, may God use us for the benefit of the Kingdom. Amen.
