Turning point

 

“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" - Matthew 11:30

 

I was born in a traditional Christian family and brought up devoutly. But I never tasted the love of Jesus until I was eighteen. I was living a life that was not pleasing to God. Both my mother and father were born deaf and dumb. So, I hated them and persecuted them. One day I happened to be attending a youth meeting and the Lord spoke to me. The Lord spoke to me specifically, saying, "The two-day youth meeting is for me alone." I surrendered my life to Jesus.

 

When I was eighteen, Jesus Christ forgave all my sins and accepted me as His child. My parents were overjoyed that the Lord had come into my life. I used to do small jobs out of love for the Lord. It was during those days that Brother Jacob from the Village Missionary Movement came to our village for ministry. I will go to village ministry along with him. In January 2012, they organized a three-day meeting at Paramakudi on behalf of the Village Missionary Movement. I went to attend the meeting. Bro. David Ganesan preached the word of the Lord. After the meeting I went to see him in his room. At last he said a word. Jesus cries why don't you join us in ministry! I couldn't stand after hearing it. I decided to work together in this ministry for Jesus who wiped my tears and weeps. On one side are deaf parents who cannot speak, and my sister who is waiting for marriage, and on the other side is Jesus crying for souls. But God helped me join the ministry with the consent of my whole family. Today, both my father and mother have been working among the deaf and dumb for more than eighteen years. The Lord himself conducted my sister's marriage. God gave me the grace to do the Lord's service as a family.

 

Dear young brothers and sisters who are reading this, try to dedicate your life to His ministry no matter how difficult your situation is. Jesus will use you too. He will take care of your affairs. Jesus is crying and do what you can to wipe away his tears. Consecrate yourself to God to live a useful life as a seed to many. May God himself bless you!
