You are special

 

"…you are of more value than many sparrows" - Matthew 10:31

 

An elephant lived in a forest. That elephant always compares itself with other birds and animals and gets disappointed. Always worried. One day, it saw a bird and cried that if I had wings, I would fly too. It didn't want to eat.

 

There was a beautiful nightingale singing sweetly. The elephant worried more. All these birds are singing so beautifully and I was worried that I was the only one who didn't have the talent to sing. Another butterfly sat on the flower and was sucking and tasting the nectar. When the elephant saw it, God gave it delicious food. But I, lamented saying that I was eating tasteless leaves.

 

When the elephant saw the spotted deer running, he cried, "Oh, I don't have the color of the beautiful spotted deer! I don't have thin legs to run fast. The ants kept crying because they couldn't go underground. Finally, the elephant became thin and weak and was on the verge of death. Then the animals and birds of the forest came to the elephant. "Elephant, the Lord has given you so much power and strength. How strong big legs you have. How expensive is your trunk? Consider how great you are in creation. They said, "An elephant is worth a thousand gold if it lives, and a thousand gold if it dies." It was then that he began to glorify God by considering the superiority that the Lord had given him. He regretted thinking that he had forgotten and grumbled about God who created him specially.

 

Little brothers and sisters! Do you also look at others and worry that I'm black, I'm not pretty, I'm not talented, I'm not comfortable? Jesus loves you no matter what you are. Dear, you are special in eyes of Jesus.
