Dead flies

 

"Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment;…" - Ecclesiastes 10:1

 

A crow lived in a tree in the garden of a house. A dog and a crow who lived in the same garden became friends. The dog looked at the crow who was sad one day and asked why are you sad today. The crow said nothing. The dog did not let go. Immediately the crow said. These people are lovingly rearing parrots and pigeons, I also went near their window to see that. They chased me away. Why don't they like me, how many virtues do I have?. Dog, virtues in you? Listen! We wake up early in the morning and take bath. We all live together said the crow. The dog said, despite all this, you have a habit of stealing and while we are awake, you take away what is in our hand. Yes, because of one bad quality of stealing, I felt that all the good qualities I had were wasted.

 

In the same way, the Bible say that a person who is famous for wisdom and honor will be spoiled by the slightest indifference. The wrong little thoughts and ideas that arise in us bring us down. When King Uzziah became king at the age of sixteen, he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He increases his strength. He earns people by caring about people's welfare. The scriptures say that he did great things. But the Bible say that his mind was proud, which is a bad quality. "PROUD" had fallen into his perfumed life as a dead fly and destroyed all the virtues of King Uzziah. Moses could not inherit Canaan because of his minor disobedience. Even though Solomon was a man of wisdom, he broke God's command and married a foreign woman, which divided the kingdom. Shame on all his wisdom. Samson disobeyed God's command and ate honey from the body of a dead lion, which enslaved the mighty man.

 

Beloved, are you well blessed and prosperous? Let us make sure that pride, arrogance, and conceit do not come into our thoughts. For that, we should examine ourselves every day and admit that everything we do is nothing but the grace of God. Let us keep in our mind that God's grace and favour but nothing by ourselves. Let's keep things like dead flies from falling into our lives.
