Who will go for our cause?

 

"…I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?..." - Isaiah 6:8

 

Noah, Abraham, David, and the prophets did the things of the Lord according to His will. In the New Testament too, disciples, apostles, and people of faith did great things for God. Even though missionaries and many ministers are working for God till today, God is still looking for active workers.

 

A devotee sings thus: "Who among us, is the one who God seeks?" God is always looking for dedicated people to do His work, to fulfil his will. He does not see as humans see. Men of the world seek God only for worldly blessing. They wander in disguise. They will get the benefit of that and get exhausted. They will get name, fame, title and position in this world. But their treasure in heaven will be empty. "If only for this we have faith in Christ, we are to be pitied above all men." (1 Corinthians 15:19)

 

If we do not serve for the sake of vision, but hate worldly excellence and work for God's glory and heavenly treasure, then we will be the person God is looking for.

 

At the age of nineteen, Sadhu Sundersingh, who had set out for Tibet, was captured and tortured by Tibetan lamas, thrown into a desolate well, and miraculously delivered by God. He went on foot to the villages in the forests and hills and preached the gospel. He was called the "Apostle of Bloodshed " and the "Apostle of India". Sadhu Sundersingh was a person whom God sought and knew.

 

Who will go for our cause today? That is what the Triune God is looking for. Let us listen to his calling voice. Let us strive in this world to do God's things for at least one hour in this eleventh hour work of the last time and receive God's heavenly blessing.
