The ministry of Christ

 

“Then Peter said, "See, we have left all and followed You" - Luke 18:28

 

Arthur Marcius was not a healthy man. He was suffering from asthma. But he was motivated and energetic in fulfilling the ministry he has chosen. He dedicated himself to ministry at the age of 22. While studying in medical school and preparing for his master's exam, missionary Robert Caldwell's call to action brought him to South India. Nazareth in Thoothukudi district came into being as a result of his complete dedication to service. Even today his work is being talked about. Many villages around this area have become Christian villages and spread smell of Christ. There are many social works done by him. Because he considered the mission of Christ above all else.

 

By faith, when Moses grew up, he hated being the son of Pharaoh's daughter, knowing that he would rather suffer with God's people than to experience the eternal joys of sin.

 

Beloved! Many, many have lost theirs for the sake of Christ and His kingdom, according to the verse that unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it wont bear much fruit. Because they considered Christ's kingdom mission superior. Today we are standing on the drops of blood shed by foreign missionaries on our motherland. The educational institutions started by them commemorate their sacrifices even today. The world may forget what one has lost for Christ. But heaven will restore to them all that they have lost for the work of Christ. Therefore, let us consider it happy and noble to suffer for Christ in this world.
