Poureth water

 

"The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself" -Proverbs 11:25

 

It is a saying that we all know well that a well that pumps water will increase in its water level. Not only water but also our knowledge. Jonas Salk studied medicine at New York University. He got a job at a virus research institute. He was also tasked with finding the perfect cure for the flu. He learned many things. But more than that, he gave his tireless work to the world. Together with his friends he discovered the virus to eradicate polio. The drug has been used in the United States since 1955. Thus, we know that polio is under control. If the inventions were used by themselves, it would not have benefited anyone.

 

In the scriptures, a man named Saul was about to kill the Lord's disciple, but he was met by the name of Jesus. Immediately Saul preached in the churches that Christ was the Son of God. Saul publicly proclaimed his salvation. And without hiding the experience of salvation he had received and the Jesus he had met, he openly preached and preached to other Gentiles from house to house. Therefore, Paul, who can be called Saul, storve that everyone should know Jesus and become the inhabitants of heaven.

 

Beloved, what gives us more joy than worldly honors and awards is sharing the joys of our salvation experience with others. The resulting contentment will be remembered in heaven. That is soul gain, evangelism. A variety of advertisements for products that are normally available for free. But no one enjoys in sharing the name Jesus and the eternal life. If we are saved we cannot be idle. May we be motivated to proclaim Jesus for the benefit of others.
