Without vision

 

"Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits" - 1 Corinthians 15:33

 

Born in a village, studied high school with enthusiasm, then moved to a major the city to study engineering and then got a government job as a surveyor. One day he took his assistant writers from his office in a vehicle and went to measure the lands below the foothills. While he was doing that work, a white rat came out of the red soil.

 

The rat ran around in front of this officer. The officer handed over the office records to his colleagues and started chasing away the rat. At first the mouse ran slowly, piqued his interest, and made him forget the purpose of his visit. Then it ran and hid in a hole there. The other officers were sitting with their hands on their heads as they waited for him for almost twenty minutes. When he came back he bowed his head in shame since he forgot the purpose of coming.

 

In the same way, God's vision for Samson is great in the scriptures. He had great strength that no one else had. God chose Samson even before he was born in his mother's womb to free the people of Israel who were slaves under the hands of the Philistines and lead them on the path that God wants. But Samson did the opposite. He ate what should not be eaten. He associated with what he should not associate with. He did what he should not do. Finally, he did not fulfil the vision given by God and died with shame and humiliation also became an object of fun.

 

Yes, we need friends to help us fulfil our vision. At the same time, whether it is the school we are studying, the college, or the field of ministry, there will be people around us who do not have vision. We should find such people and exclude them. Because if we see someone who yawns, we will also yawn. If we see someone vomiting, we will also vomit. Likewise, if we associate with those who have no vision, we will lose our vision.
