"I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work" - John 9:4

 

A good awareness of night prayer is found in all congregations. Regardless of the church, it can be seen that fasting prayer and night prayer are in the monthly schedule of the church without stopping with Sunday worship. In today's meditation we are going to meditate on the night prayer based on the scriptures.

 

Our Lord Jesus prayed at night during his ministry. (Mark 1:35, Luke 6:12, 21:37) Nowhere in the Bible we can read that it was his custom to pray at night and rest all day. He prayed all night. During the day he wandered around and ministered. This is the exemplary ministry that Jesus showed us. Today's church workers and evangelists who talk too much about night prayer should also teach that they should also go out and minister during the day. It is not right to pray without doing deeds. We can understand that as we read in today's title verse.

 

We cannot understand why our parishioners, who are seriously talking and teaching about night prayer and fasting prayer, have forgotten to go out and do ministry. What the Holy Spirit is saying to you in today's message is to pray and not stop and go out and serve. Charles Pinney, E.M. If you look back at the history of countless servants of God like Pounds and John Hyde, they also prayed all night. We can read what is written about them that they wandered and ministered all day long. Sadhu Shundersingh, who served in our country, prayed all night. It can be read about him that during the day he travelled around the Himalayan regions and ministered and led many souls to Jesus. So beloved in Christ, may the Lord guide us to give importance to going out and meeting souls as much as we give importance to night prayer.
