Risen!

 

"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen…" - Revelation 1:18

 

Hello children, how are you? I guess Exams are going on? Did you go to Sunday class. You should spend your time in a way that is pleasing Jesus. Ok come on. Well, do you know what day is today?.. Easter. Very good. Easter is the day in which Jesus resurrected. Jesus Christ who freed us from sin, curse and death and died for us on the cross, so this is a great day. It is a happiest day for mankind.

 

Mary Magdalene and her friends went to the tomb of Jesus in the early morning when everything was dark and there was no human traffic. Even after two days of death, they could not forget the crucifixion of Jesus and the blood that flowed from his body. They kept crying thinking about it. Jesus, who did not commit any sin, died on the cross for us! When they think about that, they didn’t fear about that darkness. They went to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus. They were surprised to find the tomb open. When they went inside, Jesus was not there. They saw a bright and beautiful angel. They froze in fear seeing him. Immediately the angel said, "Do not be afraid. You are looking for Jesus himself. He has risen as he said. Go and tell his disciples this good news." Although, there was fear one side, the joy that Jesus rose from the dead overflowed in the heart. They came out of the tomb and ran fast. Jesus appeared before them. "Oh, what is this spirit?" They were afraid. Jesus looked at them and greeted them, "Hail." They worshiped Jesus. Joy filled their hearts. So, they went running and told this good news to the disciples who were crying, there was no limit to their happiness. He did not forget the love that Mary Magdalene had for Jesus. The sister was the first to see Jesus after the resurrection.

 

Dear sister and brother, all graves in this world are closed. But only Jesus's tomb is open. Jesus rose alive. He is still alive today. He gave his life for us. Will he withhold other blessings? He will definitely give, only if you become his child!
