Time is precious 

 

"Redeem the time, because the days are evil” - Ephesians 5:16

 

Many will say different things about time. Time is like gold, don't waste it. There are many claims that every second is very expensive. Those who could not catch the train will know the value of a minute. A surgeon will tell you the value of an hour. They say that the value of a day is known to daily labourers. They say a mother who gave birth to a premature baby knows the importance of a month. Although there are many opinions in the world about time like these,the scriptures tell us, “Redeem the time, because the days are evil.”

 

Why is it said in the scriptures that the days are evil? For who is it evil? It is evil for all men of the world. When did it become evil? God sees every day as a good day, Isn’t it ? When man sinned, the days became evil.He lost the beautiful Garden of Eden. He had to sweat, and women had to experience the pangs during childbirth. If you do good, you will be great, if you do evil, you will be suppressed. The scriptures says that we will be rewarded according to the good or bad we do.

 

We must use time efficiently to gain eternal peaceful life . The man who received one talent buried the talent. He was pushed into outer darkness with the name of wicked and slothful. Those who took advantage of time and multiplied their talents received superiority and additional talents. They were privileged to share in the joy of their master. (Matthew 25:15-30)

 

Since we don't know how much time is given to us, we have to complete the purpose of living in the world given to us by God and run successfully to say that I finished my race like Apostle Paul. Let's run to be worthy to receive. So that no one will take our crown. (Rev. 3:11)
