Open our eyes

 

"…Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man;…" - 2 Kings 6:17

 

William Carey, who was a sandal maker, would kneel down and pray with a map of India in his free time. The burden of India was weighing heavily on his heart. Who will go to India as a missionary? After hearing the call, he dedicated himself and offered to go as a missionary to India. He worked zealously in India despite many obstacles, struggles and losses. The saying of his heart was, "Expect great things from God; do great things for God." He had a passion for India from his youth which made him work in India till his last breath. Today you and I know Christ as a result of William Carey's bright eyes turned upon India.

 

In the Bible, the king of Syria came to fight against Israel. Seeing the army, horses, and chariots surrounding the city, Elisha's servant cries out, "Alas, my lord, what shall we do?" Then when Elisha prayed to the Lord to open the eyes of the servant, he saw that the mountain was full of fiery horses and chariots around Elisha. And Elisha the prophet looked at the servant and said, "Do not be afraid; the servant's eyes were opened to realize that in that day those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

 

Dear people reading this! You too will get tired if you look at all the struggles, problems, reproaches, weaknesses and insults that you are going through in your life with carnal eyes. If you look at your problems with the eyes of faith with God's harmony, God will rise you up . Pray every day that God will open the eyes of your heart. Let us tell the problem how great God is before we open our eyes to God. No matter how big the problem, let's put our faith in Jesus who will make it disappear like snow. May God do great things!
