Weakness is not a barrier

 

"…My strength is made perfect in weakness…" - 2 Cor. 12:9

 

A woman in England gave birth to seven children. Then became weak when she was conceived for the 8th child. Suffering from many ailments, she gave birth to a son. The child was also born weak and suffered from asthma. Despite taking many medicines for this, the disease was not cured. But the boy grew up and accepted Christ and became zealous for the Lord. One day when he was having trouble in breathing, he took out his diary and wrote, "I hope Lord will protect me to proclaim his name." Likewise, God protected him. This is Arthur Marcius. He came and served in Nazareth area in Tamil Nadu.

 

Even in scripture Paul prays for cure when he is weak. God said that in your weakness my strength will be perfected. God is with me even in my weakness as I praise him for my weakness. He was very weak and has suffered a lot. Yet he established more number of the Church. He went to many places and did the work of Christ. Author of many epistles. Weakness is never a hindrance to the work of Christ. If you have retreated from Christ because of such hindrance, rededicate yourself today. He will cover and protect you with His grace as we continue to work for Christ despite our weakness. He will do miracles with us.

 

Beloved reading this, when you look at your weakness it becomes very apparent. When you see God who promises you and leads you, your weaknesses will be seen as nothing. You too can move forward. He calls the things that are not as they are. The One who did terrible things with the fearful Gideon, the One who strengthened the young Joshua to lead millions "be strong and be strong," the One who used the weak Paul will use you today. Don't be paralyzed by weakness. Look to Christ and move forward in His grace. The Lord will do great things with you. Amen!!
