NEW LIFE

 

"…If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…" - 2 Corinthians 5:17

 

Hello kids, don't you all like new pen, new dress, new things? When we get the new things, we will reject the old one! If Jesus comes in our life, the old life will change and help us live a new life. Shall we hear a story about it?

 

Bam...bam… sound of the Bus, the sound of the bike flying at Jet speed, the sound of the bicycle clinking... Vanitha Aunty was walking fast in the midst of all these noises, she usually goes late for housework. She will go there and do the job improperly. She wont’t clean the dishes we. It's just that when sweeping the house, she won’t sweep under the bed and under the sofa. Mistress thought... Let's stop this maid and hire someone else... But they were patient for a while.

 

Vanitha Aunty's daughter Sheela asked her mother, The aunty who is teaching me Sunday class, is leading a prayer at our neighbor's house, shall we participate?" There, when they heard the love of Jesus Christ and the good news that he died on the cross for our sins, the Lord spoke to their hearts. There was a big change in the life of Vanitha Aunty who gave place to Jesus. She started cleaning the house properly even though no one was watching. She also washed the dishes clean. She came on time without taking leave often giving false reasons and completed the work neatly. Mistress is very happy after seeing this new change for a few days... Mistress asked how suddenly there was such a big change?... She was also happy when Vanitha told them that this new life was the change that came from accepting Jesus in my heart. They have borne the expenses of Sheila's education. She became a trusted assistant.
