Don't lose heart

 

"…for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart" - Galatians 6:9

 

A ship was sailing. A believer gave a copy of the tract to a co- passenger. The co- passenger said, "I am also a Christian. I have given such tracts to others in my youth, but no use so I stopped doing that ministry." The person who gave the tracts said, "I accepted the Lord by reading what someone gave me. Twenty years ago someone handed me a copy in front of the YMCA building in Glasgow. I read it and accepted the Lord and I am serving today." "The co- passenger who was listening to this was shocked. "I was the one who was handing out the tracts at that time. I left that ministry as it was useless. I have abandoned the ministry that created people like you!” he said with great sadness.

 

Even in the scriptures we see that Paul is chosen by God. He expounds the teachings of Jesus to many peoples and Gentiles. God works miracles with Paul. He teaches many people to follow the footsteps of Christ. The Lord helped him to finish writing many more epistles and establish churches. He also preached pious things to the congregations. For this purpose, he completes the ministry that he received without getting tired despite many sufferings, imprisonments and beatings.

 

Dear readers! Even if it seems that there is no result in the little things we do for God, even if many efforts seem to be failures, let us not get tired and do the Lord's service with enthusiasm. Don't worry, don't lose heart, don't get weak because I haven't been successful in this ministry. God child! Dedicated service, faithful service, prayerful service will never fail! It will definitely pay off. The bread placed on top of water will bear fruit after several days. The word of God that goes forth from your mouth will not return empty. Alleluia!
