The faith given by cross

 

"…I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus;…" - Galatians 6:14

 

Alexander was a Christian who suffered torture as a prisoner in Russia. He was forced to work 12 hours a day. He had to do the work of digging in the midst of scant food, severe illness, and terrible weakness. Exhausted, he stopped to rest for a while. Prisoners who rest like will be beaten severely by the guards. One of the prisoners who believed in the Lord came to him, drew a sign of the cross in the sand, erased it so that others would not see it, and left. At the thought of the cross, Alexander's heart was strengthened. He endured sufferings with the cross in mind until he was freed.

 

 In his epistle to the Galatians, Paul says that he should not boast about anything other than the cross. Paul wrote many epistles and founded many churches. And he has guided many people to the word of Lord. He says that even though there are so many things to glorify, there is no room for glorification of anything but the cross.

 

Beloved! If He is to be glorified through us, we must be able to accept all the difficult situations and problems that come our way. We live on a cursed earth where we have to come across many sufferings. At such times let us be filled with the following thought: "We are not going to suffer more than what Jesus suffered on the cross." Surely we can go to heaven only through suffering. So, let's go through the sufferings and tribulations with joy!! Let's get green space that doesn't wither.
