Gift

 

"For God so loved the world…" - John 3:16

 

A gift is an expression of love. A gift is usually a gift given by one person to another. This gift is one that comes in unexpected circumstances. There are many types of gifts like gifts shared between friends, gifts given between family relations. And the gift given for birthdays and weddings are also special. All these gift items can only be shared if there is love. Nothing can be given without love. For example, Mother Teresa, Graham Staines, all of them offered their services to sick people for free out of love for God.

 

In the scriptures it is written about a rich man and a poor man named Lazarus. God made both of them. But this Lazarus was lying at the rich man's door, desiring to satisfy his hunger by the food falling down from his table. Both of them died one day. The poor man died and was carried by the angel into the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and went to the hell. What a pitiful situation it is for a rich man to live on earth a luxury life and then go to the hell! He lives rich and dies loveless and ends his run.

 

Beloved! We think that money, position, name and fame are only blessings. We also think that he loves me to bless me so.Actully, His love is not only blessings; You can taste his love in the lack and the chastisement of God, also even in the state of nothingness. "We cannot give without love, and we cannot express our love without giving," said Mother Teresa. The Father has given Jesus to this earth as a gift of love for us. May we also be filled with His love and give Jesus as a gift to others. Let us give what we have to the needy and make others happy.
