The strongest with little strength 

 

"…Go in the strength you have…" - Judges 6:14

 

Three young men were walking, carrying a cross on their shoulders. One shortened the length of his cross because it was too heavy. The second one did the same. After walking for a while they found that there was a big hollow pit . The first two people were puzzled as to what to do to bridge the pit . The third person came and placed the cross he was carrying over the pit. It acted as a bridge. He crossed it easily. The other two young men thought. They repented of their wicked act of refusing to carry the cross that God had appointed for them.

 

In the Bible, we read in 1 Samuel chapter 6 verse 7 and 8. The appointed cow that was not yoked to carry the ark of the Lord left her calf and went straight to Joshua's field carrying the ark! Then it gave itself as a sacrifice! It did not look back considering the condition of his calf. It didn’t think “Can I carry this ark? I am not used to carrying this ” and stand in the same place. If the five-sensed animal carries the ark of God, why can’t we, who have received the anointing and power, carry the cross and tell others about the excellence of the cross and the love of Jesus?

 

Dear brothers and sisters reading this! Even the little power you have is enough to carry what may seem heavy in your eyes. We think that with our wisdom we can reduce the weight and make it easier. But whatever God appoints to us is a blessing. Let us consider what our thoughts should be if the unyoked cow carried the ark of the Lord placed upon her to the end and finished her work. Let us live in this world according to God's will without grumbling and carry the cross that God has placed on us.
