A firm seed

 

"You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.." - Isaiah 26:3

 

When I was in sixth grade, I came to know the Lord's love through the Sunday school held in my street. The Bible verse taught there not only stuck in me mind like a green leaf but also the Living verse started working in my heart like a seed. I started attending house prayer meetings and youth gatherings that were held in my area. In ninth grade I dedicated my life as a teenager to full-time missionary work in northern India. Years passed. Lord gave good marks in my school and college studies, since I gave priority to Jesus.

 

After polytechnic I got a job as lab technician in a reputed college with good salary. As the days passed by I forgot about the commitment. But the Lord never forgot the commitment I made. The big turning point in life was marriage. Jesus made me come and fall in his community. I also prayed accordingly. If I am to go as a missionary to North India, I prayed for a future life partner who will serve in North India. Two years of struggles, tribulations, tears, but I held fast to the Lord. At the end of two years, God answered the prayer and provided a life partner who works in Chhattisgarh area. Jesus taught me Hindi and we served as a family for a few years in the Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra region. Now we have been doing God service as a family in village missionary movement for more than three years.

 

When reading about a woman named Ruth in the Holy Bible, Ruth clings to her mother-in-law. The steadfast seed within Ruth was the cause of the great seed. Yes, the seed that was planted in me at a young age sparked a desire to do something for the Lord. The seed of faith in me is now bearing fruit as a full-time missionary. If you are reading this, you can also plant the scriptures in your area! The results may not be visible in the initial days. But one day we will surely see the fruit of the seed sown. Don't hesitate to plant the seed. Let's plant today! May we see the reward in heaven! Sow it!!
