Samaritan seed
"He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy" - Provebs. 28:13
A Christian youth committed a sin. Immediately he became aware of it in his heart and not only repentantly confessed his innocence but also corrected the thing that had caused him to fall into sin. But the devil kept accusing the boy. The young man struggled with guilt for years. One day he approached a prophetess in his church and asked her to pray for him. Tears flowed from his eyes as she prayed for him. Lord, I have committed such a sin in my heart, have you forgiven me? He repeated the same thing and prayed inwardly. The Lord spoke through that mother. "Son, what sin did you commit? I don't remember"! Yes, the forgiving God has forgotten them. Hallelujah!!
During the days when the Lord Jesus lived on earth, he had to pass through the country of Samaria, so Jesus sat by the well as he rested on the journey. Then a woman came to draw water. Jesus asked her water for "thirst." The Lord Jesus did not dismiss the woman as a sinner and did not condemn her. He revealed himself to her. Immediately she left the jug that the woman had brought to draw water, and went into the village saying a man told me all that I had done. She preached the gospel and brought people to Jesus by saying come and see him. The whole village came to know Jesus through this woman.
Beloved, our Lord not only forgives our sins, but He also forgets the sins He has forgiven. So if we feel guilty about our sins, let confess to Jesus and let it go. This is the lesson the Samaritan woman teaches us! Share your testimony of the good that Jesus has done in your life as you yearn for what I can do today. This is the gospel! It is not necessary to evangelize by crossing seas and mountains. If you become a seed for Him in the areas where you live, there will surely be amazing results.
