The price is not wasted

 

"…And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil" - John 12:3

 

Bhagat Singh was born in a religiously zealous Sikh family in Punjab. He went to Canada for his further studies and obtained a degree in engineering. There he accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his God. On returning to India by ship, he decided to work for the Lord and tore up his engineering certificate, which was the proof of his future, and threw it into the sea, surrendering himself and all that he had to the Lord. Later the Lord used him to plant 10,000 churches around the world. His holy life and ministry is a challenge for Christians today. His books continue to inspire ministers and believers today. Yes, his dedication and sacrifice was counted precious in God's eyes. So God used him as a light to the whole world.

 

In the scriptures, when Jesus was eating at Simon's house, a woman named Mary brought the expensive ointment she had earned so far and poured it on Jesus' feet. Others who saw this complained. They said it was a waste of money. But she doesn't care what others say. Instead, she was thinking about what the Lord was saying. Notice what the Lord said about Mary. * She has done a good deed for me. (Giving to the Lord is not a waste, but a blessing) * She did what she could. (He doesn't expect to do the impossible. We should do it consciously) * She went ahead to apply balm on my body. (We should use the opportunities we get) Have you seen the proofs given by the Lord!

 

Beloved! Don't you want the blessings of Mary? Have you been blessed by giving what you have to the Lord and His work? If not, decide to do it today. Your home will be filled with blessings as you offer to give for the Lord. Giving can be something you love, time or talent. Give it to God willingly. The above Godman gave himself and all that he had. People around you will say that you have wasted your life. But the Lord made him a fragrance to the world. Yes, the price is not wasted; Success!
