Pain and strength

 

"…You shall... restore all things…" - 1 Sam. 30:8

 

Job suffered the most pain in the scriptures. Satan inflicted the greatest pain in Job's life. "I am being tested from minute to minute," said Job. So much, 

so that the temptations came one after the other and terrified him. He lost all the resources of life, lost his beloved children, was hurt by his wife who was left behind, and was grieved by friends who came to console him. The body turned into wounds. They also hurt his heart as if that was not enough. Job experienced 100 percent pain in body and mind. But he had strength. He said, "God is my salvation, even if he kills me, I will trust in him. His witness was strong. My witness is in heaven." This is Job's strength! He said, "My Redeemer lives. I will see Him with my own eyes." This is the strength of his faith! Satan, who tormented Job by tossing and turning, saw his strength and ran away. Job lived as a perfect man, with double wealth and double life.

 

Are you enduring too much pain in your mind and body? Are you worried about what will happen? Will the joy and happiness I lost come back? Are you longing for that? Don't be dismayed, be strong in faith, "The Lord perfect all things for me. I will restore all that was lost." There is definitely strength in a heart that endures pain. Tap into that mighty faith like Job. The devil who came to test your life will flee.

 

People of faith who are confused like Job! Be careful. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. He knows your sorrow, your tribulation and your tears. It is easy for him to change all these things. All we have to do is trust Him and rise up in faith. His promises are unchanging. His word never fails. Yes, the God who blessed Job twice will bless you too.
