POWER OF PRAYER

 

"Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession" - Psalm 2:8

 

A brother and a sister lived in England. Older brother Hudson was 4 years older than younger sister Amalia. They used to live devoutly, praying, reading the Bible, and attend Sunday classes. When Hudson grew up and graduated from college, he got a job at a bank. He went to a foreign city to stay and work. Good job, good salary, always had money in hand.

 

If we have money in our hands, we buy whatever we like right away, so Hudson was alone and started living according to his wishes. Little by little he withdrew from the Lord as he did not want to seek the Lord.

 

Work stress and unnecessary bad habits made the body sick. How can you be lonely when being sick? He immediately returned to his home. He told his younger sister Amalia, "I can't believe there is a God, I'm so confused I've stopped reading the scriptures." Amalia was very worried after hearing this. Immediately she went alone to her room and prayed for her brother. She prayed everyday that her brother would taste the love of Jesus again.

 

Miraculously, Hudson rediscovered God's love. He decided to tell everyone about this Lord. He dedicated himself to go to China as a missionary. Through him, God converted many people as his children in China.
