Words as seeds

 

"For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" - Romans 10:10

 

One tree can make a thousand matches. But one match can burn a thousand trees. Similarly, our words can build up many people and tear down many people's lives.

 

The head of a house rises every morning and prays on his knees. Despite his physical weakness, he used to pray for the people of the country once a week along with his friend in his house. His unsaved wife was never compelled to know the Lord. Even though he did not go to the theatre to watch a movie, he did not stop his wife from going, but he dropped her. Seeing the freedom given to her by her husband, his faith in the Lord, his way of life, his way of speaking and interceding with God for others, the wife also firmly grasped the Lord. She has raised her children in the Lord and led many to Christ through her life and loving words. It was none other than my mother.

 

In the same way, Naomi gained her daughter-in-law Ruth by speaking about the Lord in the family and by the witness life she lived, even though she had a daughter in the land of Moab. Yes, Naomi's words about her Lord went into the heart like a seed. So Ruth held fast to Naomi and God. The Fruit of the Seed, the word of Naomi, is recorded in Scripture. In addition, God chose Ruth's offspring to give birth to Jesus Christ.

 

Dear reading this! If you are saved let your words be about Christ. The scriptures say that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Likewise, the words of your mouth will enliven the lives of many, knock and bind many. My mother raised her three children in Christ and encouraged and gave all three to serve the Lord. Yes, we will also talk to others about the Lord without talking about our own story or other people's matter. Let us sow the word and reap the souls.
