Gospel seed

 

"And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him" - Exodus 2:4

 

My hometown is Andalpuram in Sattur. A sister named Hepsiba came to our street from Sivakasi. She gathered 15 youths from our street, with a smiling face in white clothes with a Bible in hand, proclaimed the love of Jesus, distributed the New Testament in our hands and asked us to read. When she came the next week, there was no one else except me. She started telling me more about the love of Jesus Christ. She prayed for my family. She continued to come there every week and talked to me about the Lord and she began to observe the changes in me. My habit of speaking bad words changed. I started living as a good son in my family. I went to a nearby church every week and got baptized and later started preaching the love of Jesus to the children in my street.. I started doing small ministry. Sister Hepsiba was very happy to see that. Then I devoted myself to full-time ministry and have been serving God for the past 16 years. I am a full-time missionary in the Village Missionary Movement in the noble work of training missionaries in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh regions of North India.

 

In today's scripture passage, the wise struggle of the child Miriam is recorded. The order to kill all the male children born was announced by the king of Egypt in the land of Egypt. But a mother decides to team up with her young daughter to save her son. Then he put the child in a reed box and left it in the river. When the daughter of the King of Egypt comes to bathe there, Miriam speaks to her wisely and does everything she can, to save the child. Finally the child was saved. Named Moses. Later that Moses became a great leader.

 

Friends reading this! A sister named Hepsibha planted the gospel seed in me. It has been great benefit in my life. Made me a staff builder in North India. An initiative taken by Miriam produced a great leader. Friends, are you ready to sow the gospel seed? It may be the first step you take for the salvation of a man, a small effort. But don't forget that it will pay off big later on. So tell as many people as you can about Jesus Christ. You sow the seed; God will bring forth.
