New year

 

"…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…" - 2 Cor. 5:17

 

Newly married life, child birth, new house, new vehicle, new jewelry, new clothes and new things in life bring happiness and anticipation to all of us. Every new year is no exception. But today's meditation is what is the Lord's joy and expectation towards us in this new year.

 

Every man's sins should be washed away by the blood of Jesus and his soul should be saved. This is rebirth. It is God's expectation that through rebirth the old sinful life is gone and everyone becomes a new creation. You should enter the New Year as a new creation. Be reborn and become a new creation right now. Those of us who have already been born again should renew ourselves by confessing to the Lord the spiritual failures of the past days. How? We should wait at the Lord's feet for a few days, sanctify ourselves, and receive new anointing and new power. Let's resolve to eliminate laziness in scripture reading, prayer, worship and ministry. Thus, for those who are in Christ, all old sins and failures are gone and all things have become new. Don't dwell on the past. The Lord will do new miracles in everyone's life. He will also take responsibility for worldly affairs.

 

  It is no mistake that everyone wants to get new promises in the New Year and be blessed accordingly. The most important of all promises is the promise He made to us to give us eternal life! The beginning of each year heralds the approaching end of our life's journey. Therefore, let us be serious in inheriting this promise given by the Lord in the times of grace that the Lord gives us. Let us earnestly pray and strive to bless our loved ones, our countrymen, and the world according to this promise. Happy New Year everyone!
