Blessed counsel
"For who has despised the day of small things?" - Zechariah 4:10
The long-time dream of a very wealthy man was to start a car company! As such a car company was started and a new car was designed. He organized a function to introduce the new car and gave invitations to many people. There was a problem when the new car was driven out of the room at that particular time. Surrounded by a large crowd of people. The new car was 5 cm higher than the door of the building. So the car did not come out: the people there began to grumble. Some even started lamenting that we had left all our work behind. The custodian of the company who was looking after this said, "If you let the air out of the tires the car height will decrease. After bringing the car out, you can fill air in the tires." They listened to the words of the guard and did so. The car was introduced for the enjoyment of the wealthy. In the Bible, Naaman, the general of the king of Syria, was in mortal agony of leprosy. In his house was a little girl who had been captured as a slave from Israel. The girl looked at her nurse and said, "It would be good if my Lord would go to the prophet in Samaria. He will cure him of his leprosy." And Naaman's servant also said, "Bath then you shall be clean." Although Nagaman was the leader of the army, he accepted the the two advices. Nagaman was blessed by their advice. Dear people reading this! Even in our life we may be clinging to the thought that "that's it, I have no solution to my problem". Our problems will be solved through the people whom we trivially think will solve our problems through them. When good advice comes to us, no matter who the person is, we will succeed when we listen to that advice and act on it. So don't underestimate the people we are with and everyone around us. If Jesus died on the cross for us thought little of us, would he have died on the cross for us? Let's think.
