Peaceful Christmas

 

"Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" - Luke 2:14

 

Jesus Christ was born on this earth for an important reason. It is to give peace to this world! The greatest gift Jesus will give to everyone who labours in sin with a life of peace!

 

It is not going to do any good for people to say that they will all go to heaven. Heaven is not as ordinary place as we think. It is the greatest place where Jesus dwells. If Jesus is holy, without sin, so can those who are with him. We want to keep our house clean. We will not put ugliness in the middle house and live with it. So is our Lord Jesus. His house has many abodes. But it is not for sinners. Only for those who have received forgiveness of sins. It is Jesus Christ who came to take you and me to such a place.

 

Christmas is the day that signifies the coming of Jesus. We must prepare ourselves to know the purpose of his coming. This good news should also be told to others. The first message that came to the world when Jesus was born was "Peace be with you"! The shepherds were afraid of the messengers, and they said, "Peace be with you." Two events took place when Jesus was born into this world. One, those in darkness have seen great light. Two, the message of peace to you has come down from heaven to earth.

 

Beloved, the real Christmas is when Jesus is born in the soul. If this Jesus Christ is not born in our heart, it is no use saying that I will go to heaven. You cannot enter heaven with sin. Only the absolved can enter. Therefore, those who are in the darkness of sin can see great light by having Jesus born in them. Only those who have seen such light can find great peace.
