Peace on earth

 

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” - Luke 2:14

 

Another Christmas season has come. Christmas carols can be sung with devotion or no sentiment. Just as there is no room for Jesus in the inn, Christmas celebrations can leave no room for Jesus in our hearts and homes; Or we can celebrate with the faith that God has been born as Emmanuel to be with us forever from our heart as the cowshed where Jesus was born. Some may celebrate a meaningless Christmas with games, balls, and celebrations like pagans. Some people may be grieving on Christmas Day due to problems and losses.

 

For things to be like this, in these days there are ever seen extremisms, violence, murders, divorces, wars, accidents, natural disasters, tears everywhere, lack of peace, uncertainty in anything, horrors everywhere! Mankind is searching for peace. Let's see how God wants us to celebrate the birth of Jesus incarnated as the Lord of Peace!

 

The first Christmas message was that Jesus became man to make peace between God and man by shedding his precious blood for the sins of mankind. (Colossians 1:20) He is our peace. (Ephesians 2:14) God's love for mankind is God's good will that we and everyone on earth should receive this peace and be blessed with salvation. True Christians are those who have this peace. Only they can be at peace anywhere and anytime in this restless world. This is compelling gospel. Are you a true Christian? If your answer is "no" or "doubt" then get your anxiety relief now and get ready for Christmas. Glory be to God in the highest, as the host of angels praised on the first Christmas Day. Amen!
