Bread and Butter

 

"Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, not realizing the speck in your own eye?" - Luke 6:41

 

"Mom, mom, I'm very hungry; can I have some bread and butter?" asked Agnes who came home after school. Mother did it right away. After tasting the food, Agnes gave her mother a kiss on the cheek and went off to play. What cuties, you also love bread with butter. Well, let's get into the story, shall we?

 

Agnes mother went to the bread shop where she buys butter and bread everyday and asked, "Why is the amount of butter that we buy in your shop always less?" A lot of people who shop at that store asked the same. Immediately, he became suspicious of the person who usually brings butter to the shop. The next day the baker fought with the person who brought butter, saying "You have cheated me so long, you reduced the amount of butter and brought it to me in a packet." Immediately he patiently said, "No, I will weigh it properly." Immediately the people of the village supported this shopkeeper and scolded the butter seller and finally took the problem to the village leader. The head of the village also stopped and looked. A 1/4 kg packet contained less than 50 grams. Immediately the head of the village got angry and scolded him angrily, "Are you making fools of us all? Don't come to this village anymore." Immediately the butter seller said, "Sir, forgive me. I don't have any stepping stones to place on the scale. This bread seller uses the 1/4 kg bread packets in the shop to weigh and I use these butter packets." . Both were equal. Immediately everyone looked at the bread seller and asked, "Are you selling underweight and blaming the other person?" They scolded him and left. He also bowed his head and returned home in shame.
