The missing sheep

 

"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep" - John 10:11

 

A shepherd led his flock of sheep towards the foothills of a mountain. A mischievous goat in the herd looked up while grazing. A little distance away he saw a green meadow. The desire for the green meadow made it escape the shepherd's eyes and it went some distance away and a little more distance and a little more distance without being seen by the shepherd's eyes. It statrted to become dark and the darkness scared the stray goat. The sound of deadly beasts was frightening. To stir up panic, it stood pitifully. There the shepherd who gathered the flocks came looking for the missing sheep. He saw a goat standing pitifully pierced by thorns. Happily hugging him and putting him on his shoulder, he walked towards the herd.

 

In the Bible,Lot separated from Abraham and went towards the Jordan near the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah, which he saw as very beautiful.Angels came to destroy the cities because of wickedness of the cities which reached the community of God! When angels sent Lot away, his wife looks back and became a pillar of salt. Both the daughters sinned. From them came two descendants, Moab and Ammon. God started his plan of redemption again with Ruth, a Moabite woman, to save that generation that had escaped. Yes, he does not pushover anyone!

 

Beloved, Jesus Christ came to save us from the lusts of the world and toiling of sin. He shed his last drop of blood to redeem us, the lost sheep! Crowned with thorns, beaten and bruised. Isn't our shepherd the good shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep! Are you a sheep who have not yet joined Jesus' flock? The Good Shepherd is still looking for you today with tears. God still loves you. He has forgotten your sins. But he will never forget you. Searching and waiting to carry you on his shoulder.
