"I will bless thee, and make thy name great" - Genesis 12:2

 

My dears, you will be preparing for the half yearly exams after the quarter exams. If you have a desire to score higher than before, our Jesus will definitely fulfil it for you. For that you need to do three things. One is to have desire, two is to pray Jesus, three is to fear God and please Him. If we do this and start studying, Jesus will do miracles for you. Well, shall we hear a story?

 

There was a very talented sculptor. Sculptor means someone who carves figures and memorials in stones. 2 rocks were caught by the sculptor's eyes. As soon as he saw it, he thought that he should carve two sculptures out of it, so he invited some sculptors friends and said, "Can we plan to carve two world-famous and beloved men in these two rock stones?" They saw that rock and it was an ordinary stone. They left it aside saying that it is not appropriate to sculpt world famous people. But he made up his mind and prayed for it. So he did not want to leave it as such. Suddenly God reminded him of a good sculptor. He brought him and showed him these stones and expressed his desire. He also prayed and asked God to remind him whom he should carve. Then he remembered David glorifying God by playing the harp and defeating Goliath with a stone. He carved it like the same sculpture. While he was carving like that, he had to carve out many unnecessary parts. Then it turned into an expensive sculpture to the amazement of the world. It was exactly as if David was playing the harp and defeating Goliath with a single stone in battle.

 

Okay, dear, what is important to note here is that even though David was an ordinary man, he had a higher purpose in his mind to glorify and exalt God, so he is seen as an exemplary child of God who is still remembered by us today. Do you also consider yourself normal? No; If you surrender yourself to Jesus to be sculpted, He will shape you in a way that the world will marvel at. The world will remembers us not only when we are alive, but also after death! right?
