WHAT NEXT? . . .

 

"…Who can tell him what will be after him?;" - Ecclesiastes 10:14

 

When our children complete 12th standard, we ask them what next? The teenagers ask What's next every day? They use the question But this question is one to ask oneself when one is sitting down tired, anxious, and defeated.

 

A downfall in the life of the New Testament Saul, who was going on so triumphantly, zealously, to his heart's content! Unable to advance himself, he falls from the horse. In broad daylight he trembles with fear at light and noise. Immediately he asks what are you willing to do? Instead of apologizing and thinking about what to do next? He asks. The Lord, who was expecting this, gives a clear plan for him.

 

Saul also becomes Paul and changes his ways. God is with us. God helped Paul to live an exemplary life so that many more would follow him. Are you still on the wrong path today? Or have you fallen into the mire of sin? Do you say that I have no more life but a hellish life? No... God has a plan for you. He meets you through this meditation. It is true that you fell into sin. After reading this, don't follow the same path and change your path. Think about what next and dedicate yourself to do your will and hold his hand. Fallen, rise up. Samson changed course and became an object of ridicule. But he didn't want to die like that and asked the Lord for a chance thinking about what next. When he dies, many are dead. David fell into sin. But he dusted himself off and got up and ran and finished victoriously.

 

Boy! Don't worry if you fall too. Everyone has a downfall in life. Get up! You have the power to rise. Aspire to get up and try. If you raise your strength will come automatically. Don't ask others what next; Ask your weary soul. Surrender to God's will, take His hand. God will make you useful to many people. Amen.
